The Old Course is said to be the oldest golf course in the world. The Old Course is the Home of Golf and the most famous golf course all over the world. It was said that it was at the Old Course where golf was first played six centuries ago.

The Old Course is a public course and one of the seven public golf courses at St. Andrews Links being managed by the St. Andrews Links Trust.

The Old Course is the only course among the seven golf courses at St. Andrews Links where a handicap is being asked. All the other courses do not ask for a handicap as the golf courses are public golf courses.

We did not play golf at the Old Course though but we were able to walk on the course. It was not easy booking for a tee time at the old course. We will not explain it anymore. If you are interested, you can read about it at the website of St. Andrews Links.

Despite not having played the course, we thought of writing about the Old Course too.

We were able to walk on the course because it was closed for golfing on a Sunday. We were actually told that the Old Course is closed on Sundays so people will have the opportunity to walk on the course and have the chance to see the course.

You can walk all day long at the Old Course even if you are not a golfer. You can see for yourself how deep the bunkers are. If you are a golfer, you will definitely get crazy seeing those bunkers.
